VIETLANDERVIETNAM SOURCING & EXPORT PARTNER

ABOUT US

Meet our team

VietLander brings together three people with different backgrounds, complementary skills and a shared commitment.

Fernando and Tiên are partners in life and business, while Tiên and Danh are siblings. Together, we combine an international perspective with local knowledge, practical experience and strong connections in Vietnam.

We work as a team, sharing responsibilities and bringing different perspectives to every project.

For us, building good business relationships begins with the same things that make any relationship meaningful: trust, respect, commitment and the willingness to grow together.

OUR STORY

How we met

Our story began in Da Nang, where we connected through dance, shared joy and a natural sense of mutual support.

From the beginning, we found in each other a willingness to care, listen and grow together. Clear communication and honesty became important pillars of our relationship, along with the ability to understand and appreciate our different perspectives.

Living between cultures also became a learning experience for both of us. Tiên grew more confident in expressing her own point of view and staying true to her identity, while we both came to value honesty as something that begins with ourselves and shapes the way we relate to others.

After spending some time living together in Da Nang, we moved to Da Lat, drawn by its climate, natural surroundings and way of life. There, we grew closer to the local community, discovered the world of Vietnamese coffee and began building connections that would later become part of our journey.

We lived in Da Lat through the Covid period. Towards the end of that time, we traveled to Argentina, where our son Ishan was born — a beautiful new beginning and the fruit of our life together.

In 2023, we returned to Vietnam, celebrated our wedding surrounded by friends who had traveled from different countries, and Fernando reconnected with his work in travel through Shantitur.

Over time, our experiences, relationships and shared interests gradually brought us to the creation of VietLander.

Today, we bring together our different backgrounds and experiences, with the same spirit that has accompanied us from the beginning: supporting one another, connecting people and growing together.

OUR BACKGROUND

Experience, connections and shared knowledge

VietLander brings together our own experience in international business, local knowledge and a broad network of expertise and connections across Vietnam’s export ecosystem.

Our work is supported by VietGo, a business network built on more than 20 years of experience in international trade and Vietnamese exports.

Over time, VietGo has developed a collaborative model connecting international buyers with local individuals, businesses and service providers. Through this network, people and companies identify producers, explore business opportunities, attend to buyers and contribute to completing export operations.

VietGo shares its experience through practical training, online guidance and ongoing support, helping members develop their own capabilities while contributing to a growing export network.

VietLander combines this shared knowledge and network with our own relationships, responsibilities and way of working.

We believe successful trade depends on every part of the process working together. We start by understanding each project, then connect the right people and help bring its different elements into alignment.

We approach these relationships with professionalism and a personal touch, aiming to make every collaboration natural, enriching and rewarding for everyone involved.

OUR VALUES & APPROACH

How we work

We believe good business grows through trust, mutual respect and a shared sense of responsibility.

Honesty

Transparent information, open communication and a genuine effort to be clear allow everyone involved to understand the situation and make informed decisions.

Freedom

We respect each person’s pace and choices. We share our perspective and guidance, giving decisions the space to develop in their own time.

Commitment

We stay involved, present and consistent throughout the process, honoring the responsibilities we take on.

Responsibility

We turn our commitments into action, follow through and take care of the details that matter to everyone involved.

Loyalty

We look after the interests of everyone in the relationship. As your eyes and ears in Vietnam, we seek to understand different perspectives, act with empathy and build lasting connections in which everyone can grow together.

We see every project as an interconnected process. Buyers, producers, suppliers and service providers are all part of the same network. What affects one part can affect the whole.

Our role is to help these connections work in harmony, through collaboration, attention and respect for everyone involved.

WHAT’S BEHIND THE PRODUCTS?

Every product has roots. We help you meet them.

Every product has a story that begins long before it reaches the hands of a buyer or the table of a consumer.

It begins with the land, the people who work it, the knowledge they carry and the many decisions that make each product possible.

We believe that understanding these origins brings greater meaning to trade. It creates a closer connection between those who produce, those who distribute and those who consume.

At VietLander, we want to bring more of these stories into view.

As our sourcing relationships develop, we aim to make product origins, production practices and the people behind them increasingly accessible and transparent.

Because knowing where something comes from is also a way of recognizing everyone who helped make it possible.

VietLander banyan symbol

Our symbol

Our symbol is a banyan, a tree cherished in both Vietnam and India, and a tree of life in many traditions. Its roots are Vietnam and the people who grow, craft and care for each product. Its trunk is VietLander: the connection, the service, the bridge. Its branches reach homes around the world.

Fernando’s boutique travel company, Shantitur, takes its name from shanti, the Sanskrit word for peace and presence.
